Selby Eicher, musician, composer, teacher, and recording artist, toured with Roy Clark’s band for 15 years and has appeared on the Tonight Show, Grand Ole Opry, Crook and Chase, Merv Griffin’s show, and Nashville Now, and performs with the Tulsa Playboys. 
 
Jim Bates, bass player and teacher, has played with the Tulsa Philharmonic, Oklahoma Sinfonia, Sonny Gray Orchestra, Tommy Crook, Frank Brown, the Tractors, and more. Like Shelby, he is at ease performing jazz, country, and western swing. 
 
Tommy Crook, considered the best guitar player in America, is a member of the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame and has played with J.J. Cale, Chet Atkins, Merle Haggard, and Leon Russell. He started playing the guitar at age 4 and by age 10 began appearing on Tulsa television. By age 11, he was the featured solo act on Porter Wagoner’s Touring Show. On the Tonight Show, Chet Atkins said Tommy was the best guitar player in America.

Please save the date of Monday, September 30 for the next great performers in the Hyde Park Pay It Forward House Concert Series. Featured will be  Shelby Eicher on fiddle, Jim Bates on bass and Tommy Crook on guitar. The show will be 6-7pm in the Clubhouse Dining Room. Guests are urged to contribute at the door (Pay It Forward) to bring more outstanding entertainment to Hyde Park.
